THE CHALLENGE
D.C. healthcare policy agencies tend to look the part — cold, corporate, and built for boardrooms. Healthsperien wanted something different. A brand warm enough to connect with people, not just institutions.
MY ROLE
I led brand identity development from concept through execution, establishing the visual system, art directing the logo, and overseeing the digital experience. The challenge was balancing D.C. credibility with a creative vision brave enough to stand apart from the category.
THE APPROACH
The creative direction centered on openness, space, light, and a color palette chosen to evoke optimism and humanity over authority. At the heart of the identity is the butterfly logo, a symbol of transformation and the evolution of science and human potential. The result is a brand that invites people in rather than impresses them from a distance.
